Adecco US, Inc. School Based Speech Language Pathologist in Phoenix, Arizona
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to K–12 students with developmental disabilities, including AAC users. Working in a collaborative environment with OTs, PTs, and educators, the SLP helps students improve communication, participation, and functional skills across school settings. This position is in the Phoenix area.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy to students in classroom and group settings.
Conduct evaluations , write reports, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) .
Program, monitor, and maintain augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices .
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to integrate communication goals across environments.
Track progress, document services, and complete Medicaid billing as required.
Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings; maintain professional communication with families.
Adhere to school policies, therapy standards, and attendance expectations.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Arizona SLP License and Department of Education Certificate
Ability to obtain AHCCCS number and NPI for Medicaid billing
AZ Hearing Screening Certificate preferred
Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of AAC systems and communication strategies for diverse learners
Strong collaboration and documentation skills
Ability to motivate and support students with varying communication needs
Effective communication with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Work Environment
School-based setting with active student engagement. Role requires regular standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance). Students may display challenging behaviors; safety and teamwork are emphasized.
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
