Actalent Remote Electrical Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Professional Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic design team. The role involves working on a variety of high-profile construction projects, including data centers, industrial buildings, and offices. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with team members, clients, vendors, and external disciplines. Travel to job sites may be necessary for site observations and client meetings.
Design electrical systems and perform design calculations.
Review, sign, and seal project documents.
Review submittals, respond to RFIs, handle change orders, prepare record drawings, and conduct site visits and inspections.
Participate in commissioning work.
Write and edit specifications for electrical equipment, select equipment, systems, and devices.
Ensure projects are completed accurately, within deadlines, and on budget.
Qualifications
4 - 6 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
EIT certification required; PE preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of mission-critical project experience in areas such as advanced manufacturing, data centers, semiconductor, or healthcare.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
2+ years of experience designing power systems.
Advanced knowledge of equipment power requirements, including large-scale standby and emergency power systems with interactive generator controls.
2+ years of experience performing electrical analysis.
LEED AP BD+C is a nice-to-have.
Ability to perform arc flash studies.
Work Environment
The position allows for 100% remote work unless the candidate is local to Phoenix, AZ, or Austin, TX, where a hybrid work schedule is offered. The office in AZ, located on Tempe Town Lake, provides a modern, hotel-like atmosphere. The role is open to candidates in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IN, MI, MO, NV, OK, SC, TX, WA, WV, or UT. Candidates in NY, CA, CO, NJ, and WY must be willing to relocate.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
