Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
As an assembler, you will be responsible for completing the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components. You will read blueprints and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to accurately assemble built components and parts. You will utilize power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque to complete assemblies, and perform electric bond checks.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and SOPs to assemble components and parts.
Complete assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components.
Use power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque to assemble parts.
Perform electric bond checks.
Ensure understanding of Honeywell specifications is maintained.
Essential Skills
2+ years of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment is highly preferred.
2-3 years of assembly experience.
Experience with large parts assembly.
Understanding of Honeywell specifications.
Proficiency with mechanical assembly using blueprints and schematics.
Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar industries.
Experience assembling large parts, especially with commercial or military aircraft engines.
Basic quality verification practices such as torque settings, electrical bond checks, and dimensional measurements.
Adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Work Environment
Work in an aerospace manufacturing environment located on-site at Honeywell near the Sky Harbor Airport. Join a tight-knit team cultured work environment that follows Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles. The available shift is Monday through Friday from 6AM to 2:30PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
