As a Manager of Business Travel Sales – Extended Stay , you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being relentlessly motivated to grow market share. As part of the Business Travel Sales (Americas) team, reporting to the Assistant Managing Director of Sales, this role leverages sales expertise to identify and assess unmanaged accounts for project and extended-stay revenue opportunities, while proactively sourcing and converting new business. You will focus on building positive partnerships within the Extended Stay sales vertical improving revenue, room nights and growing Hilton's market position and educating both hotels and brand representatives to help cultivate customer business. You will meet your set goals, uncover projects, extended stay groups and facilitate customer RFPs, driving additional revenue and increased market share into Hilton Hotels worldwide.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Identify and pursue new extended stay and project customers and generate business opportunities from un-managed Hilton accounts within all market segments, end-users and potential agency partners.
- Leverage strong sales expertise to increase revenue per client and meet revenue targets.
- Cultivate relationships with important buyers in the extended stay market by penetrating industry segments with long-term stay and project travel demand.
- Manage leads through the sales pipeline from unmanaged accounts in collaboration with extended stay sales team to maximize conversion.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth and organizational goals.
- Attend trade shows and networking events to build relationships and generate leads from unmanaged accounts.
- Manage client data daily using our CRM and Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and strict privacy. Update activities, tasks, follow‑ups, and sales insights to maintain continuity and track project managers as they transition across job sites.
- Analyze industry trends and competitors' strengths and weaknesses and incorporating industry and client analyses to forecast future client needs.
How you'll collaborate with others:
- Clients and TMC's – you will communicate information to influence a positive buying decision via in person or virtual meetings. There is an expectation you will travel to meet with clients for QBR's, trade shows, and annual reviews.
- Colleagues - Collaborate with Hilton Worldwide Sales Specialists and other valuable partners to provide total client solutions. You will be dedicated to a “One Team” commercial culture while living the Heart of Hilton.
- Hotels and Owners - you will ensure full understanding and active engagement while building individualized partnerships to provide unlimited value.
- Sales Support – you will lead non-selling activity to support improving sales results.
Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
- Work in partnership with AMDOS and vertical team to build and implement sales strategies and solutions for this growing segment.
- Increase value for internal and external partners while providing an overall solutions-based approach to complex needs.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure commercial performance of the segment.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of professional sales experience
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
- Experience working with the Extended Stay travel segment and specifically the temporary housing, relocation, workforce lodging and corporate project travel
- Experience in business development and sales strategy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Travel up to 25% of the time
It would be useful if you have:
- Multi-property sales experience
- Experience with the procurement cycle and requirements of extended stay travel buyers
- Experience with MicroStrategy

The pay range for this role is $65,000 – $95,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
