Junior Azure DevOps Engineer / Onsite in Phoenix

A global technology services company is seeking a Junior Azure DevOps Engineer to join a growing delivery team that supports a local government client. This role is ideal for candidates with a computer science degree or foundational IT experience who are looking to break into cloud and DevOps engineering with structured mentorship and hands on exposure

In this role, you'll work alongside senior engineers to support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Over time, you'll gain experience with infrastructure as code, cloud automation, and modern DevOps practices while contributing to real world systems that support critical business operations. It's an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is curious, motivated, and eager to learn how modern cloud platforms are built and operated.

This role will require someone to work onsite 5 days a week in downtown Phoenix, AZ.

Contract Duration: 12-24 months

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or a related field

• 0-3 years of experience in IT, system administration, software development or related roles

• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (Azure preferred)

• Familiarity with Linux or Windows server environments

• Some exposure to scripting or programming (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar)

• Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn in a production environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience to Azure DevOps pipelines or CI/CD concepts

• Familiarity with ARM, Bicep or Terraform

• Understanding of Git/ version control

• Coursework or hands on projects involving cloud infrastructure or automation
