Pay: $70,000 – $90,000 annually

Summary
The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating facility operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and overall performance. This role manages staff, monitors operational processes, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and profitability. The Operations Manager will analyze data, support strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned facility
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance financial performance and operational excellence
Analyze operational data to support informed decision-making
Identify process improvements and implement strategies to increase productivity
Monitor repair, maintenance, and operational costs; take corrective action as needed
Ensure achievement of financial targets and profit margins
Adjust staffing plans and schedules to meet production goals while controlling labor costs
Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
5–7 years of operations or facility management experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Strong leadership and supervisory experience
Experience working in plant or industrial operations environments
Working knowledge of facility operations including drum handling, tank farm operations, truck loading/unloading, and wastewater treatment
Understanding of facility permits, compliance requirements, and procedures
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
Leadership & Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct supervision of facility staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
Provides input on promotions, compensation, corrective actions, and terminations
Supports budgeting and operational planning
Travel
- Minimal travel; typically limited and as needed
Physical Requirements
Primarily sedentary work with occasional walking and standing
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally
Frequent computer usage
Must be able to meet vision and hearing requirements for safe job performance
