Additional Job Requirements:
This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evening work. The role involves travel to multiple locations such as River Cities, Flagstaff, Prescott, Prescott Valley. Tucson, and the Phoenix Metro area. Candidates must have 2-3yrs of experience performing the following:
Drywall repair
Light electrical work
Light plumbing
Reliability, adaptability, and the ability to work independently across various job sites are essential.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the repair, maintenance, and operation of building systems and equipment within the system. This position exercises technical independence in performing urgent corrective, routine, preventative, and requisitioned maintenance activities and inspects and tests systems and equipment in accordance with codes, manufacturer recommendations, and organizational standards. Responsibilities including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, painting, and general facility maintenance to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of assigned locations.
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years’ experience in industrial, commercial, or healthcare facility maintenance.
Must hold a valid state driver’s license.
May require travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover with minimal notice. Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements, weekends, holidays and overtime. May be required to work occasional on-call duties weekends, evenings and early AM which could result in possible overnight stays.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Vocational, technical, or apprenticeship training.
Prior experience in healthcare or laboratory facilities maintenance.
Experience with regulatory compliance for healthcare or laboratory environments.
