Honeywell Engineering Technician I in Phoenix, Arizona
You will report directly to our Lab Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and accuracy of laboratory operations, contributing to the successful execution of testing and equipment management processes.
We are seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Lab Technician to support day-to-day laboratory operations, testing activities, and equipment management. This role is ideal for a high school graduate who is a fast learner, demonstrates strong problem‑solving skills, and is eager to develop hands-on experience in a technical environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with setup, operation, and cleanup of laboratory equipment and test stations.
Perform basic tests, measurements, and data collection following established procedures.
Maintain accurate and organized test records, logs, and documentation.
Support equipment calibration, inventory tracking, and routine lab maintenance.
Follow safety protocols, lab procedures, and quality standards at all times.
Identify basic issues or abnormalities during tests and escalate as needed.
Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians on test execution and troubleshooting.

YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interest in technical, hands-on work.
Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, processes, and technologies.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of computers for data entry and documentation.
Ability to follow written instructions, processes, and safety guidelines.
Comfortable working in a lab or workshop environment.
