Job Title: Electromechanical Technician
Job Description
As an Electromechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery. You will reassemble machines after repair, start and observe mechanical operations for efficiency, and inspect damaged parts to advise on repairs. Your expertise will ensure machines run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and detect problems.
Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair.
Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to specific procedures.
Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.
Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations.
Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse to maintain machinery and work areas.
Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Industrial electrical knowledge.
Experience with hydraulics.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Maintenance technician experience.
Heavy Industrial Electrical Experience.
Preventive maintenance skills.
PLC troubleshooting.
Repair skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
One to two (1-2) years related maintenance experience.
Knowledge and experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and boilers.
Mechanical background with rotating equipment.
Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
Knowledge of measuring gauges such as tape measures.
Proficiency with various hand and power tools.
Prior experience operating a forklift.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Ability to work under pressure to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.

Work Environment
You will work in an industrial manufacturing environment on the 2nd shift, with hours from 12:00 noon to 8:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The building is unairconditioned, and you will handle large pieces that are cut into sections for insulation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
