The Role and Impact:
As a Process Integration and Yield Technician, you will play a critical role in driving Intel's manufacturing excellence. This position is pivotal to ensuring the production of high-quality semiconductor products while maximizing yield and reducing defects. Your contributions will directly support Intel's innovation and leadership in the semiconductor industry, enabling groundbreaking technological advancements.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical expertise to identify, investigate, and resolve issues that impact yield and quality. Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical and technical tests to identify and interpret defects resulting in yield loss and investigate component failures to improve yield.
Conduct electrical validation and fault isolation to products that failed test, identifying physical defects associated with electrical failures.
Document and communicate findings related to failure analysis to peers, line operators, and managers.
Make recommendations to modify equipment and/or processes to optimize yield results.
Perform setup and monitoring of semiconductor processing equipment.
Proven capability to provide technical training and consultation to peers.
Process test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs to identify deviations from quality standards.
Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators to maintain adherence to quality standards.
Conduct engineering tests and experimental testing to collect data or support research related to process integration and yield.
Interpret lot disposition data for inline defects, parametric metrics, and end-of-line results, while executing set up plans for experiments.
Provide critical training and consultation to peers to enhance overall team capability.
Create, modify, and troubleshoot routing plans for the flow of materials using in-house software.
Analyze database reports to assist with route adjustments and disposition of out-of-control materials.
Utilize tools and techniques such as cross-section, delayering, SEM, X-ray and Optical Inspection, Ion/CNC Milling, hand probe, curve trace, auto probing, TDR, EOTPR, ELITE, Curve Trace and/or FIB/DIB to perform analysis of selected architectures and perform reporting of results in a lab or factory setting.
Lead efforts to uphold quality standards through Stop the Job (STJ) measures and continuous improvement strategies.

Qualifications:
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma and 10-15 years of relevant experience or an AA/AS degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in failure analysis and electrical validation techniques for semiconductor packaging.
Experience with data interpretation, technical testing, and database report analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a lab environment.
Experience with fault isolation and failure analysis techniques including cross-section, delayering, SEM, X-ray and Optical Inspection, Ion/CNC Milling, hand probe, curve trace, auto probing, TDR, EOTPR, ELITE, Curve Trace and/or FIB/DIB
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in setup and troubleshooting of material routing plans using factory software.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $70,670.00-116,640.00 USD (Hourly Role)
