Job Description: Cook (Deli / Grill – Entry Level)

Overview

The Cook is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items for multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events . This role supports daily food service operations while maintaining quality, safety, and presentation standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, portion, cook, and present food items according to established recipes and standards

  • Support food service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines

  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely service

Available Positions & Schedules

Deli Cook – 1 Position

  • Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

  • Must be available 7 days a week

  • Typically off Tuesday and Wednesday

Grill Cook (AM) – 1 Position

  • Schedule: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

  • Must be available to work any of the 7 days of the week

  • Will receive two days off

Grill Cook (PM) – 2 Positions

  • Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

  • Occasionally starts at 9:00 AM for opening training

  • Must be available to work any day of the week

  • Will receive two days off

All employees must be available to work holidays

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.58 - $17.58/hr.
