As the Advanced Packaging Engineering Commodity Manager your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Managing Intel capital equipment suppliers in Advanced Packaging to meet Intel's dynamic requirements to support Intel revenue generation.

  • Developing and managing internal and external relationships to provide sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions while adhering to procurement policies.

  • Partnering with a diverse stakeholders' base to lead and develop multiyear commodity strategies based on business/market intelligence, long term analysis of the category/commodity, and the supply ecosystem.

  • Acquiring and maintaining industry and market knowledge of semiconductor capital equipment.

  • Lead supplier sourcing and selections.

  • Negotiating IP agreements, eval agreements, purchasing contracts, statements of works and pricing for goods and/or services.

  • Develop new supply chains for new or existing products and be capable of doing detailed financial analysis of suppler investment strategies. Managing suppliers in different geographies and early morning or late-night meetings are often required.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience may be obtained through coursework, academic projects, research, or relevant internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must possess any of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of supply chain/semiconductor/manufacturing experience or related.

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering with 2+ years of supply chain/semiconductor/manufacturing experience or related.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA

  • Commodity Management and Engineering experience.

  • Program management experience and a history of successful problem-solving in a difficult environment dealing with difficult customers and/or suppliers.

  • Experience with writing contracts, supplier negotiations, and selections, familiarity with Intel's purchasing business policies, and working knowledge of the Ariba system.

  • Experience with developing ROI's (Return On Investments) and should cost modeling with finance.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $107,990.00-214,440.00 USD

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Work Model for this Role
