2nd Shift Manufacturing Engineer
(Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Responsibilities & Expectations
Develop machining process for parts fabrication, including fixtures, cutting tools, gages.
Support all continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Prepare detailed work instruction (MOT's), Set-up sheets and process plans.
Lead / ensure the lessons learned are shared and implemented.
Recommend process improvements to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
Must have thorough understanding of GD&T
Advanced Engineering Software and ERP Software is preferred.
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Previous manufacturing experience related to mechanical components for aerospace preferred
3 to 5 years' experience with sheet metal fabrications and welding required
Bachelor's degree in engineering field highly preferred
Work onsite, in the office, sitting for up to 8 hours at a time.
Expert ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings, specifications, and customer requirements, including contracts
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills within a production environment
The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, deadline critical production environment
Ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
Utilization of Microsoft Office applications including Teams and other
Possess a high degree of initiative and be self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision.
