2nd Shift CNC Lathe Operator - Aerospace

Status: Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Compensation: $24.00 - $39.00 per hour + 2nd Shift Differential, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule:
2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Overtime, including Saturdays, as needed

Responsibilities & Expectations
Set up and initial program validation.
Demonstrate skill to perform inspection and validation of key features at CNC machines.
Set-up and run Vertical and Horizontal CNC Lathes with minimal supervision
Collaborate with engineering/programing/management for machining optimization and fixture design.
Properly prioritize workload based on communication from QC and CNC managers
Work in a fast paced, fluid environment
Promote a positive image of Precision Aerospace
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Must be US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Card
Strong knowledge and application of geometric tolerancing
Proficient ability to read blueprints supporting Aerospace industries
Experience with the precision machining of critical aerospace hardware including castings, and forgings ranging from aluminum to high nickel alloys.
Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and successfully overcome machining obstacles
Expert skill in precision measuring equipment
Excellent organization skills, written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
