Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

This role supports the manufacturing of precision metal components that form honeycomb-like structures used to block frequencies in telecommunications and medical equipment such as MRI machines. You will work in a production and assembly shop environment, using hand and power tools to fabricate and prepare metal pieces that must meet strict size and shape requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble metal pieces that will be built into honeycomb-like frequency-blocking structures.

  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and prepare metal components.

  • Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure each piece meets precise size and shape specifications.

  • Perform quality checks on parts and assemblies to confirm they meet required standards and tolerances.

  • Load and unload materials and finished products as needed to support production flow.

  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds throughout the shift while following safe lifting practices.

  • Conduct basic soldering tasks as needed to join or repair metal components.

Pay: $15/hr

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 430pm

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philipsburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
