Business Analyst – Workforce Experience Platform (Contract)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a high-impact initiative focused on building a next-generation Workforce Experience / Unified Experience Platform. This platform will replace a legacy application and deliver a modern, mobile-first, and personalized experience for a global workforce including managers, frontline associates, and candidates.
The BA will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical execution, supporting requirements gathering, workflow documentation, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
Translate business needs into clear user stories, workflows, and technical documentation
Support the design and delivery of end-to-end system workflows, including integrations and APIs
Collaborate with product, engineering, and UX/UI teams to ensure requirements are actionable and aligned with design
Facilitate discussions across stakeholders to clarify ambiguity and drive decision-making
Assist in maintaining backlog, acceptance criteria, and sprint readiness in an Agile environment
Ensure requirements traceability and alignment throughout development and delivery
Proactively communicate updates, risks, and gaps to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven environments
Strong experience working with APIs, system integrations, and workflow design
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive conversations forward independently
Experience supporting cross-functional teams in complex, multi-system environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on digital platforms, mobile applications, or workforce experience tools
Exposure to Azure or Azure DevOps environments
Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake
Experience collaborating closely with UX/UI teams
Prior experience transitioning into or supporting Product Owner responsibilities
