Summary:
The Digital Products and Marketing Technology Team at Penn Medicine leads the strategy, development, and delivery of digital products, platforms and experiences that power marketing performance and patient engagement across the health system. This includes oversight of marketing technology, web and mobile experiences, CRM, and contact center solutions that drive personalized, connected journeys. The team also supports digital customer service channels, enabling timely, seamless assistance across web, chat, and other digital touchpoints. The Senior Product Manager II, Digital Analytics is a strategic leader responsible for the vision, adoption, and optimization of Penn Medicine's digital analytics infrastructure – including the enterprise data layer, tag management platform, and downstream reporting systems. This role ensures that data collected across digital channels is accurately structured, governed, and activated to power real-time insights, measurement, and optimization across the health system. This leader ensures that product and platform user groups are not only adopting but also innovating with the product's full capabilities and is accountable for the strategic integration of new datasets and technologies.
Partnering closely with marketing, analytics, technology, and clinical stakeholders, the Sr. Product Manager II leads cross-functional product strategy, advanced business analysis, and execution for digital data products – including support for data modeling, cross-platform integration, and enterprise dashboard development. This individual also manages a team of product professionals and plays a critical role in scaling data maturity across the marketing technology stack.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy, Growth & Business Analysis
Define and lead the roadmap for digital analytics products – including the tag management platform, enterprise data layer, and reporting systems – ensuring clear objectives, requirements, schedules, and alignment with business and technology strategies. Champion the value of digital analytics capabilities across the organization, demonstrating how high-quality, accessible data drives better decision-making and customer engagement. Serve as the strategic partner to data consumers across marketing, digital experience, analytics, and clinical teams – gathering requirements and translating them into scalable product enhancements. Identify opportunities to improve data capture, signal quality, and user behavior tracking across digital platforms. Lead advanced requirements gathering across technical, marketing, analytics, and business teams to inform future-state capabilities. Guide product evolution based on emerging user needs, leveraging analytics to inform feature prioritization and platform optimization. Monitor KPIs to deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations to leadership teams.
Product Ownership & Innovation
Own the full lifecycle of digital analytics platforms, from architecture and configuration to governance, enhancements, and support. Establish and maintain documentation, data governance protocols, and configuration standards to ensure consistency across digital properties. Oversee deployment of new tracking solutions, data layer updates, and event tagging strategies in collaboration with engineering and analytics teams. Lead troubleshooting and resolution of data collection or reporting issues, managing escalations and coordinating cross functional responses. Communicate roadmap updates, platform capabilities, and enhancements clearly to internal stakeholders.
Enterprise Project & Change Management Lead the execution of cross-functional data and analytics projects, working across IT, marketing, analytics, and vendor partners.
Oversee implementation timelines, technical delivery, and change management for major product upgrades or new feature rollouts. Ensure analytics product initiatives are aligned with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and stakeholder priorities. Contribute to project budgeting and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and strategic use of funding.
Thought Leadership & Team Management Act as a thought leader in digital analytics, data governance, and marketing measurement—helping to elevate data maturity across the enterprise. Manage and/or mentor a team of product professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Encourage collaboration between product, data engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure analytics tools are scalable, trusted, and easy to use.
Professional Development. Stays abreast of health care, marketing, and technology-related issues to serve as a knowledgeable leader and system resource. Maintains skill levels in technology tools required to perform job requirements.

Education or Equivalent Experience:
Bachelor's degree. (Required)
10+ years of working in related field. (Required)
5+ years of managing large projects/programs and/or overseeing teams. (Required)
Master's degree. (Preferred)
Previous experience in a healthcare organization. (Preferred)
Salesforce Admin. (Preferred)
Tealium Certification. (Preferred)
