As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a higher education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned buildings and grounds, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge procedures, assist students, staff, and visitors with professional customer service, and communicate concerns clearly. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, campus policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and interior areas, assist with visitor direction and/or check-in processes as assigned, and report suspicious activity per post orders.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus partners and/or public responders when needed.
Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation, and communicate updates to supervision per Allied Universal requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security experience.
Be at least 21 or more years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
