Description:
Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid Atlantic, is seeking a Per Diem inpatient Occupational Therapist to join our team!
Job Title: Inpatient Occupational Therapist
Unit: Inpatient
Employment Type: Per Diem
Shift: Days - 7.5 hr shifts Minimum of two weekend shifts per month (7.5 hr shift) and two holidays per year. Both weekday and weekend availability preferred.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs within the acute care hospital setting. Administers physician prescribed occupational therapy programs to restore and maximize function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Oversees all activities related to Occupational Therapy services. Will serve as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team committed to providing the highest quality of patient care.
This position will have the ability to cover two or more of the department's units (acute care, outpatient, TCU, and/or ARU).
Education and Training:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Masters degree preferred.
Certification and Licensure:
Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of PA.
BCLS certification required.
Experience:
Two years of inpatient occupational therapy experience required
Other duties as assigned
