Day and Night shift positions are currently available. We have full and part time openings, both have a weekend commitment. With a weekend rotation every third weekend.
Day shift: 7am - 7:30pm
Night shift: 7pm - 7:30am
Full time is three shifts per week
Part time is two shifts per week

What You’ll Do
Deliver direct nursing care with compassion, precision, and professionalism.
Administer medications and treatments using the 5 rights of administration.
Monitor, document, and communicate changes in condition to the RN and broader care team.
Support individualized care plans and contribute to ongoing assessments.
Serve as a mentor and resource to Nursing Technicians and support staff.
Foster a safe, nurturing environment where each child feels seen, supported, and empowered.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do as an LPN at PSC Lancaster:
Deliver Skilled Pediatric Nursing Care
Provide hands-on nursing care to medically complex children
Administer medications and treatments safely using established best practices
Monitor for changes in condition and respond appropriately
Support individualized care plans and contribute to ongoing assessments
Be a Critical Member of the Care Team
Communicate changes in condition to RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Collaborate with MDs/NPs/PAs regarding orders and updates
Participate actively in change-of-shift reports to ensure seamless continuity of care
Seek RN guidance when care needs exceed LPN scope of practice
Support Clinical Excellence & Safety
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Assist with admissions, re-evaluations, and care plan updates
Follow all safety, infection control, and medication administration standards
Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
Contribute to a Professional, Pediatric-Focused Environment
Model professionalism, integrity, and respect
Support the development of Nursing Technicians
Participate in ongoing education and skill development
Help create a safe, nurturing environment for children and families
Qualifications
LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse (Pediatrics)
Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current state license in good standing for the state in which work is performed
Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification
Must be at last 21 years of age
Training and work experience in a pediatric setting preferred
Meets the qualifications of a Child Care Supervisor as described in 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3800
