13river15LLC, d/b/a Morgan's Pier in Philadelphia, PA (ashley@fcm215.com or 267-467-8375) is in need of fifteen (15) Line Cooks, for temporary, full-time, 40 hours per week, employment from April 1, 2026 until November 1, 2026, Wednesday thru Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. earning $15.75 per hour.  Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by federal, state, and local laws on a weekly basis.  Employer will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages due. All workers will be provided daily transportation via SEPTA (Southeastern Public Transportation Authority) to and from the worksite and at the end of their  day.  Overtime pay, if needed, will be available to the worker at $23.63 per hour.

Morgan's Pier is a seasonal, fast casual restaurant serving appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas, tacos, fries, and salads. Applicants will prepare for their shift by setting up and maintaining their food station and will assist other cooks in the kitchen in grilling, cooking, or frying the requested patron's orders.  Will ensure the safety of the food for serving to patrons by following methods that require short preparation time.  Applicants may use and are proficient with knives for chopping, fryer, grills and/or stove topis, in addition to being proficient at using the equipment such as deep fryers, flattops, pizza ovens, garn/salad and grill stations to prepare the above mentioned foods, and will adhere to sanitary standards at all times. 

The Employer will provide on-the-job training in the proper use and maintenance of the cooking equipment and tools.  The Employer shall provide lodging facilities at an apartment complex located at 128 South 19th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 for the temporary worker during the duration of the work opportunity. Such lodging facilities are provided for free and are optional to the worker.  The Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking/kitchen facilities including a microwave, stove/oven, and refrigerator for workers to prepare their own meals, and when working, employee meals will be provided.  Since housing is located in the city of Philadelphia, there is a public transportation system to provide transportation to the grocery store, church, or as needed.  Such transportation will be in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.  If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the Employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and daily subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.  Upon completition of the work contract or where the workers is dismissed earlier, the Employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment.  The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.  The Employer will provide a daily subsistence of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day (with receipts).  Employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).  For US workers, eligible for the inbound transportation benefit, the Employer will reimburse US workers who are beyond commuting distance the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has departed to the Employer's place of employment.  The Employer will provide workers, at no charge or deposit, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-week period f the total employment period.
