We’re seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support a leading industry company specializing in digital solutions. The position is hybrid with the office serving as the primary workspace, and it is expected to last between four to six months. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced technical leader eager to shape innovative portal architectures and guide dynamic teams.

Lead Software Engineer Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive digital portal systems, emphasizing performance, security, and scalability.
Offer technical mentorship to team members, promoting best practices and a culture of accountability.
Partner with product owners and architects to develop features aligned with business objectives.
Establish and uphold engineering standards, including conducting code reviews and deploying best testing and release practices.
Coordinate efforts with offshore teams, ensuring clarity on priorities and delivery schedules.
Lead Software Engineer Qualifications:
Extensive experience leading software engineering teams within Agile environments, particularly SAFe methodology.
Proficiency in Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, Typescript, SQL, and Java.
Strong knowledge of web security protocols, including AWS hosting and Akamai WAF.
Familiarity with unit testing tools (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, SoapUI) and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
Capable of mentoring developers and fostering leadership within teams.
