Noblis Lab Logistics Coordinator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities
Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.
Noblis MSD is seeking a motivated individual to join our team to perform lab management, tracking, and some testing duties for a growing Navy program.
Logistics Coordination & Material Management
Manage inventory tracking systems and maintain compliance documentation for materials and equipment.
Coordinate the staging, shipment, and return of assets between test facilities, ships, and Fleet stakeholders.
Identify material requirements and support procurement activities, ensuring timely availability of critical components.
Operational Support & Lab Oversight
Support the setup, lockdown, and maintenance of development and test environments in coordination with lead software developers and engineering teams.
Oversee the tracking, maintenance, and operational status of lab equipment, ensuring systems are aligned with project needs and safety protocols.
Evaluate lab conditions and identify potential safety hazards, supporting ongoing lab upkeep and adherence to safety standards.
Process Improvement & Analysis
Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance logistics workflows and operational efficiency.
Collect, analyze, and report operational data and logistics metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
Troubleshoot and resolve inventory, hardware supply, and control system component issues within the lab environment.
This position provides room for growth within the Navy program, with added responsibilities once acclimated with the program and test lab processes. This is a long term contract that will require you to work on-site.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 0 to 3 years experience. Degree may be substituted with a High School Diploma and six years of professional experience and demonstrated supply systems or inventory skills.
Proficiency in inventory management systems, tracking tools and processes
Understanding of supply chain and logistics operations
Ability to work independently but collaborate and coordinate with others when necessary
Physical requirements (ability to lift 50 lbs.)
US Citizen with a DoD Secret clearance or able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications
CompTIA Security+ Certification
Organized and able to communicate clearly

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
