Lead large-scale and complex testing efforts; Oversee and provide guidance for testing systems and systems components; Discuss risk analysis and test strategy efforts with testing teams to determine the scope/focus of testing efforts; Establish readiness, specify skills, analyze risks, provide estimates and create a plan for testing efforts; Lead requirements reviews, design reviews, systems analysis and testing reviews; Oversee the team in tracking testing efforts against test strategy and risk analysis; Lead the team analyzing trends and lead defect reporting efforts to address risks, using data, experience and logical methods; Collaborate on complex testing efforts and review progress with the solutions architect, project and service managers to address testing issues; Oversee the team responsible for analyzing production defects and creating improvement plans; Communicate progress and adjust test strategy and plans; Identify automated approaches to improve efficiency of testing efforts; Lead and guide others in administering, modifying and maintaining the effectiveness of test assets for project/platform activities; Oversee the collection of information and defect reports from various sources and determine effective ways to display data using various modeling, reporting, statistical analysis perspectives and trending methods; and mentor and coach team members to enhance their testing skills. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: M.S. in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or any other related academic discipline a must, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, or 3 years as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer, or in any other closely related position. In the alternative, the employer will accept a B.S. in any one of the above-referenced academic disciplines, plus 5 years of progressive professional experience.
