Jacobs Design Technician Intern - Data Centers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
We are looking for a Design Technician Intern for our Data center group in Omaha, Dallas, Greenville, Tempe or Philadelphia, Office. This role is meant for anyone currently enrolled in school who is working towards a degree in Bim/ Revit, or Computer Aided Drafting. This position is considered Hybrid and will require you to work in person at least two days per week.
During your internship you will use Bentley and Autodesk as well as a large number of other specialty software Each designer works on multiple projects at same time, providing 2D and eventually 3D BIM design. You will learn new CAD tools on the job and gain valuable work experience. The office provides a very friendly personable environment where we are flexible with our employees need to support our families and communities as desired.
You will work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to civil site design, plan production, drafting standards, CAD workflows, project coordination and computer assisted engineering tools

Must be currently enrolled in secondary education courses and working towards a degree in CAD BIM, Revit or similar Technical Degree

Ideally, you’ll also have:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit or both
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
