Shift: Rotating shift with every other weekend commitment
Location: Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia, PA
Position Purpose:
The Cook supervises the hot food production and other areas for the hospital's Dietary Department.
As a “Cook” you will:
Ensure meal service demands are met and customer approval ratings are high.
Participate in creating menus, purchasing foods, controlling food costs and maintaining a sanitary work environment.
Demonstrate leadership skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent, formal training in food preparation preferred
3-5 years experience
Proven culinary skills.
Some training in food preparation.
Good interpersonal skills, and demonstrated leadership abilities
Organizational and planning skills to coordinate all areas of food production
