Join Our Outpatient Imaging Team
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Multimodality Technologist (Mammography) to join our Imaging team at the BSW Pflugerville MOB Clinic. This role is perfect for a tech who enjoys working in a modern outpatient clinic environment , performing both mammography and diagnostic radiography while delivering exceptional patient care.
As a dual-modality tech, you will play a key role in supporting breast imaging services and general radiology for our growing Pflugerville clinic.
What You’ll Do
Perform high-quality Mammography (MG) imaging studies following established protocols and safety standards.
Ensure proper positioning, compression (MG), exposure selection, and image quality for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
Maintain compliance with MQSA , ACR standards, and internal quality control requirements for mammography.
Communicate clearly using AIDET , ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed during exams—especially during sensitive breast imaging appointments.
Prepare and position patients properly for radiography and mammography procedures using appropriate immobilization and technique.
Adhere to all radiation safety, shielding, infection control, and sterile technique policies.
Maintain equipment performance; troubleshoot basic technical issues and promptly report service concerns.
Verify patient identity, exam orders, pregnancy status, consent forms, and clinical history.
Upload studies to PACS and complete documentation in the EMR according to departmental workflow standards.
Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment and assist with supply management.
Provide exceptional patient experience by minimizing wait times and maintaining professionalism.
Support onboarding of new technologists and provide training when needed.
Key Success Factors
Ability to independently perform Mammo exams with a high level of accuracy.
Strong understanding of breast anatomy, MQSA requirements, and mammographic QC.
Ability to provide compassionate care and calming communication during breast imaging.
Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy outpatient clinic.

Qualifications - External
Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
ARRT (R) required
ARRT (M) required (or must be obtained within designated timeframe)
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
Mammography experience preferred; new ARRT(M) technologists welcome
