Team Lead Pump Technician – 2nd Shift

? Monday – Thursday | 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM

? $1,000 Sign on Bonus !!

If you’re a seasoned mechanical technician who enjoys hands‑on pump work and is ready to lead by example on the production floor , this role was built for you.

As a Team Lead Pump Technician , you’ll combine technical expertise with informal leadership—assembling, disassembling, repairing, and testing pump systems while supporting daily workflow, safety, and quality standards. You’ll play a key role in ensuring pumps and parts are built right, tested thoroughly, and shipped ready for real‑world performance.

This role is ideal for someone who wants variety, responsibility, and influence —without leaving the tools behind.

? What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assembling pump and parts orders

  • Disassembling, repairing, and rebuilding pump systems

  • Performing hydrostatic and performance testing

  • Receiving and stocking inventory

  • Prepping and painting pumps and parts

  • Packaging and preparing pump and parts orders for shipment

  • Supporting safe, efficient shop operations and following all safety practices

  • Communicating clearly across the team to support daily production goals

? What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience as a mechanical assembly operator or test technician

  • Experience assembling, disassembling, and repairing pumps or rotating equipment

  • Ability to follow standard teardown and build procedures

  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort multitasking across varied work

  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Preferred:

  • Prior leadership or team‑lead experience

  • Forklift or overhead crane experience

  • Background working with mechanical or rotating equipment

? Physical & Work Environment

  • Lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly

  • Stand or walk 8+ hours per shift

  • Bend, reach, squat, push, pull, and climb as needed

  • Work at heights, in enclosed spaces, and near or above water

  • Daily use of hand tools, material‑handling equipment, and shop machinery

  • Occasional overtime based on business needs

  • Manufacturing/shop environment with exposure to typical shop elements
