The Opportunity
This position is based at Imazium Damansara under the Abbott Nutrition International (ANI) division. The inventory executive will act as a single point of coordination for inventory matters across multiple co-packers and 3rd Pary Logistics (3PL).
What You’ll Do
Inventory Control & Accuracy :
Perform daily inventory reconciliation with co-packers and 3PL warehouses to ensure system vs physical stock accuracy.
Investigate and troubleshoot root causes of inventory discrepancies, including quantity, batch, expiry, and location variances.
Perform inventory adjustments, cycle count follow-up, and variance closure with proper documentation and approvals.
Ensure inventory transactions (GR, GI, transfers, rework, destruction) are timely and system compliant.
Warehouse & Logistics Coordination
Arrange and coordinate inbound shipments with 3PLs and co-packers, ensuring on-time and accurate receipt.
Act as the liaison for VAS conversion processes with co-packers and 3PLs, ensuring correct BOM usage and yield tracking.
Coordinate inter-warehouse stock transfers and ensure proper booking and confirmation.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
Track and follow up on Quality On Hold (QOH), blocked, or quarantined inventory until release or disposal.
Ensure correct batch integrity, expiry management, and traceability in line with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Serve as the go-to person for export, health, and regulatory documentation, working closely with QA, regulatory, and logistics partners.
Support inventory-related audits (internal, external, regulatory) by providing records, reconciliation data, and explanations.
Ensure proper documentation for stock disposal, write-off, and rework processes.
Supporting role
- Act as warehouse administration backup, covering documentation, system entries, and coordination during absences or peak periods.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, warehouse operations, customer service, or 3PL environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data reconciliation) are a must.
Experience with SAP, WMS or ERP systems is an added advantage.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills; Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
