The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company IT Analyst in Peru, Prince Edward Island

As an IT analyst, you will provide high level of technical expertise and experience in his/her area of knowledge planning, administering, implementing, defining, leading and manage complex projects and problem solutions that brings value to Goodyear Business. in his/her area of knowledge, acting also as integrator involving other expert required areas including plant manufacturing. Managing service provider performance and deliverables, controlling the handover of all projects (including Plant Projects) for proper operations support securing documentation and change control process.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the principal engineer on his/her area of knowledge taking responsibility for the entire solution in complex environment.

  • Design solutions in his/her area of knowledge following Global Standards or creating regional ones when required.

  • Be the higher-level support for problem solving in case of serious outage or major incidents where contracted resources do not have enough expertise or experience.

  • Ensure that support teams have necessary expertise for their jobs assessing them, providing necessary documentation and knowledge transfer.

  • Assess periodically current technologies and solutions and evaluate better options based on market best practices or Goodyear specifics.

  • Lead other technicians by example of teamwork, good quality deliverables, responsive support and great accountability for the company's results.

  • Work as one team with all other resolution groups overseas (NA, Europe, Asia etc);

  • Responsible for best cost and performance efficiencies in his/her area.

  • Support and manage local vendors and contractors that provide IT services.

  • Lead and manage IT complex projects and solutions.

  • Responsible Infra Capex assigned. Consolidate, Validate, Planning and Generate annual IT Capex, execution and control. Desired Knowledge in SAP (SES, MIGO, SRM).

  • Help to administrate and control IT expenses.

  • Lead of internal controls such as policies and audit process. Lead Cyber Initiatives

  • IT governances, manage portfolio .

  • IT Inventory Management.

  • Manufacturing applications keep aligned with IT guidelines, Global standards and so on.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, other IT focused discipline or equivalent IT work experience.

  • 5 years in his/her area of expertise:- leading architectural design of solutions and projects.- supporting complex environments including manufacturing- International teams experience

  • Spanish and EnglishGood communication in writing and speaking.

Desired Skills

  • Good numerical & strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, SAP, Tableau and/or Power BI.

  • Clear communication in English & Spanish, both written & verbal.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure work environment.

Nice to have:

  • Master’s Degree on Information Technology, Business Administration

  • -Plant manufacturing specific projects

  • International experiences in complex projects

  • PortugueseProject management using PMI based methodology and ITIL certificationCertifications in his/her area
