The Role

Joining us on a 2:1 roster from Perth, you’ll join a multi-billion project as part of our EPCM delivery team. Reporting to the HS Manager, your role will oversee and manage health and safety compliance across site operations, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements, client standards, and project-specific safety plans. Your main responsibilities will include;

  • Implement and monitor adherence to Project Safety and Health Procedures, Client Health and Safety Standards, Health and Safety Management Plan, and Critical Risk Management (CRM) requirements.

  • Prepare monthly EPCM construction safety reviews and compile accurate safety performance reports for submission to the Construction Manager.

  • Facilitate or participate in project risk assessment meetings with contractors.

  • Develop EPCM traffic management plans and ensure contractor isolation requirements for vehicles are maintained, including logbook sign-offs.

  • Implementation of the Field Leadership program including ongoing activity scheduling, coaching and reporting.

  • Ensure all project employees receive site-specific safety inductions prior to commencing work.

  • Provide guidance and education on safety systems, duty of care, and hazard awareness.

  • Drive initiatives to improve safety processes and promote a positive safety culture across site operations.

About You

Ideally you’ll have some leadership experience already under your belt, and ready to jump into an established team. We’re hoping you’ll bring;

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).

  • Audit Accreditation / Qualifications.

  • 10+ years experience in Senior Health & Safety positions within construction or resource projects.

  • Proven experience in incident management, risk assessments, and contractor safety compliance.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and EPCM project safety requirements.

  • In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to manage complex safety systems and critical risk controls.
