About the role
The Senior Project Manager, Capital Projects WSS ANZ leads major capital projects for mining and infrastructure, providing technical expertise, driving high project management standards, and delivering data-driven plans and risk-based solutions.
Partners with cross-functional global teams to resolve issues, guide project staff, and advance continuous improvement.
Responsibility
Leads complex, high value capital projects within the mining and water infrastructure sectors
Develops project plans and timelines for complex mining and water infrastructure projects
Monitors project progress and adjust plans as required ensuring projects stay within budget and meet contractual deadlines
Coordinates with engineering, operations, commercial, and site-based teams to support effective project delivery
Builds strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and senior leaders, and contributes to shaping the future direction of the solutions business
Develops and implements quality control measures tailored to mining and water infrastructure projects
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience of capital projects in mining, water infrastructure, or heavy industrial environments
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong leadership capability and proven ability to lead cross functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
Strategic vision and foresight.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and commercial information clearly
