We are seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join a high‑performing Perth Building Services team, stepping into a key role delivering major hospital, aviation and defence projects while supporting a strong long‑term project pipeline.
This opportunity will suit a senior consultant who enjoys technical leadership, collaboration and meaningful project ownership, within a workplace that genuinely prioritises flexibility, trust and balance.
Perth‑based role. Australian citizenship is strongly preferred due to the nature of the work.
The Role
In this role, you will:
• Lead the hydraulic design and delivery of large‑scale hospital, aviation and defence projects
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of hydraulic design from concept through to construction
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Coordinate closely with other building services disciplines, architects and external consultants
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project stakeholders
• Review designs, documentation and site works to ensure quality, compliance and constructability
About You
You will bring:
• 7+ years’ experience as a Hydraulic Engineer within a building services consultancy
• Proven experience delivering complex, large‑scale projects
• Strong technical capability and sound knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements
• Confidence leading design packages and managing priorities across multiple stakeholders
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, client‑focused approach
• A desire to work in a supportive team where quality, people and balance genuinely matter
