Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our client's team in Perrysburg, Ohio. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the financial operations of a construction business by managing various accounting tasks. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong aptitude for numbers and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Enter financial data into accounting systems to ensure records are complete and up-to-date.
• Manage invoice processing by verifying, coding, and recording invoices for timely payment.
• Reconcile discrepancies in financial records and resolve issues with vendors or clients.
• Utilize Foundation Software to maintain and organize accounting records.
• Assist with general administrative tasks related to accounting operations.
• Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information.
• Support audits and other financial reviews as needed.
Requirements
• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Experience with invoice processing and reconciling discrepancies.
• Minimum of an Associate's degree, prefer Bachelor's degree.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
