Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.

As a Senior Warranty Transformation Consultant , you’ll have a unique opportunity to be part of a team that aims to take Caterpillar and dealer warranty operations to a whole new level through operational and platform transformation. You’ll work closely with development teams within Caterpillar IT and Cat Digital to develop test scripts, execute test plans, work with users internally and externally to complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new processes and modernized system changes.

When it comes to releasing new operational processes and access to the new platform, you’ll lead the learning and adoption phase of the program. You’ll develop training plans, materials, and lead user adoption. You’ll partner with the overall team and development teams to capture system changes needed, refine through needs through design and solutioning phases, and then manage testing cycles. You’ll also measure the business impact of the transformation program, capture user feedback, and prioritize enhancement ideas.

What You Will Do:

• Be the process owner for Dealer business partner warranty data and/or processes

• Define critical business requirements and projected business value

• Own the development and implementation of prioritized, multi-generational roadmaps for the to-be processes, capabilities, and analytical needs

• Define baseline and to-be value measurement plans that have increased efficiency and simplicity at their core.

• Lead learning and adoption phase with Dealers

• Own development, execution of testing plans and work with users to gather their input on newly developed features and capabilities

• Leverage Digital NPI processes and tools to complete development and deployment processes

What You Will Have (Basic Requirements):

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a Business concentration) OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.

Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.

Information Capture: Knowledge of the methods, channels and processes to obtain needed information; ability to identify, capture and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, understandable and easily retrievable manner.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

IT Standards, Procedures & Policies: Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) standards and policies; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.

System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.

Top Candidates will also have:

• At least 5 years of experience in product support, product group, industry team, or technology development or deployment

• Passion for raising the bar and delivering a world class experience

• Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive results with high autonomy

• Strong financial and business acumen to analyze, interpret, and make strategic recommendation regarding business investments and projected value

• Demonstrated involvement in innovation and use of technology to solve problems

• Successfully investigated complex issues and recommended solutions

• Strong skills in organization, collaboration, attention to detail, influencing, communication, change management, and gaining commitment

• Experience with Agile methodology, NPI and/or Digital NPI process methodologies, and experience with writing epics and features within Azure Dev Ops

• Demonstrated excellence in a team environment

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
