Caterpillar’s EMD division is hiring for Sr. Lifecycle Analytics Engineer - MTP/MG in Peoria, IL!
Role Summary: In this role you will be responsible for sourcing data from various internal and external sources, gathering essential customer requirements, and applying relevant digital / AI technologies to accelerate MTP/MG Services offerings and to improve internal lifecycle processes.
What You’ll Do (Job Duties)
Partner with engineering, product support and component groups to develop / maintain a coordinated Condition Monitoring strategy to alleviate customer pain
Design, maintain, and enhance internal dashboards, reports, visualizations and tools to transform complex lifecycle processes
Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Maintain industry knowledge on AI technology and look for ways to integrate into Services offerings or to improve internal processes and procedures
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple data sources; investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
What You Have (Core Skills)
Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science curriculum.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Application Development Tools: Knowledge of application and system development; ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and toolkits for developing applications.
Artificial Intelligence: Knowledge of the concepts, technologies and methodologies of artificial intelligence (AI); ability to develop, implement and/or apply artificial intelligence products and services in specific industry domain to achieve business goals.
Programming: Knowledge of relevant programming languages and tools; ability to test, write, design, debug, troubleshoot and maintain source codes and computer programs.
Top Candidates Will Also Have
Experience with CAT digital solutions (Visionlink, Remote Services, etc.)
Experience with CAT technology solutions (Grade Control, Detect, DSS, etc.)
Familiarity with automation or scripting (Python, MATLAB, LabView) for test efficiency and repeatability
Proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations, including but not limited to condition monitoring strategies, value chain improvements, and technology / AI integration.
Knowledge of company products machine/components, product applications, dealer network, and services growth strategies
Proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate across cross-functional teams and global stakeholders, including Sales Execution Partners, Component Groups, Product Groups, and Senior Leaders to align aftermarket strategies and initiatives.

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $183,140.00
