Department of the Navy/Assistant for Administration INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST in Pentagon, Virginia

Summary The incumbent will serve as an Intelligence Specialist (Program Manager) within the Intelligence Oversight Directorate of the Office of the Chief of Naval Intelligence and Security (OCNI&S) in Arlington, VA. In this senior role, the Program Manager is responsible for directing complex and highly sensitive intelligence oversight programs on behalf of the Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) and the Chief of Naval Intelligence (CNI). Responsibilities The incumbent will exercise broad delegated authority to direct the strategic planning, resource allocation, and full lifecycle execution of a complex portfolio of national-level intelligence programs. The incumbent will serve as a plenipotentiary representative for the DON, empowered to negotiate and secure binding agreements with senior executives within the Intelligence Community, other military services, and allied foreign governments. The incumbent will direct and refine DON-wide intelligence oversight governance frameworks to optimize the alignment of all intelligence activities with the National Defense Strategy. The incumbent will direct the synthesis and integration of complex, all-source intelligence from an extensive network of national-level databases and information repositories. The incumbent will develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive strategic framework for intelligence oversight across the Department of the Navy (DON). The incumbent will direct intelligence governance processes and ensuring the lawful exercise of intelligence authorities to advance the Naval Intelligence Enterprise mission. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as: Use myriad databases throughout the Intelligence and Law Enforcement communities for the processing of all-source material; Provide comprehensive advice on collection, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination of intelligence information and products; and Assist with oversight of the Military Intelligence Program.
