How you’ll make an impact in this role
Proactive monitoring and swift, professional response to security concerns across the facility.
Providing essential, compassionate observation for patients, including those under Baker Act and Marchman Act, which may involve sitting for long periods to ensure their safety.
Conducting thorough investigations and meticulously documenting all security-related incidents and hazards.
Performing regular patrols and serving as a knowledgeable, helpful point of contact for staff and visitors.
Maintaining expert knowledge of emergency protocols and assisting with staff training and drills.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

- Ability to effectively read and write detailed incident reports
