How you’ll make an impact in this role
Lead and mentor your clinical team by directing and educating nursing and support staff during your shift to ensure every patient receives high-quality, compassionate care.
Optimize unit workflow by strategically assigning patient loads based on clinical needs, ensuring that staffing levels are balanced and the workload is manageable for the team.
Advocate for patient outcomes by evaluating the effectiveness of care plans in real-time and proactively identifying any obstacles that might stand in the way of a patient’s recovery.
Drive clinical excellence by contributing to performance evaluations and providing feedback to staff, helping to build a more skilled and cohesive nursing unit.
Support a culture of service by managing patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues quickly to maintain a positive and healing environment.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire dateor job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board ofNursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtainedprior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experiencerequired.
