How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead and mentor your clinical team by directing and educating nursing and support staff during your shift to ensure every patient receives high-quality, compassionate care.

  • Optimize unit workflow by strategically assigning patient loads based on clinical needs, ensuring that staffing levels are balanced and the workload is manageable for the team.

  • Advocate for patient outcomes by evaluating the effectiveness of care plans in real-time and proactively identifying any obstacles that might stand in the way of a patient’s recovery.

  • Drive clinical excellence by contributing to performance evaluations and providing feedback to staff, helping to build a more skilled and cohesive nursing unit.

  • Support a culture of service by managing patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues quickly to maintain a positive and healing environment.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire dateor job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board ofNursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtainedprior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experiencerequired.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • BSN

  • Prior House Supervisor experience
