HVAC Maintenance Technicianfor a company in Pensacola, FL

JOB SUMMARY

The HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency. This role supports preventive maintenance programs and responds to service requests in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry/construction.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems
• Inspect HVAC equipment to identify wear, damage, or malfunction
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Repair or replace defective components such as motors, belts, compressors, thermostats, and filters
• Test system performance and ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have reliable transportation (truck preferred) and basic tools
• Must be able to work independently and maintain a high level of reliability

PAY:$16.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

SCHEDULE:Full Time (40 hours weekly: Monday - Friday, plus emergency weekend/after-hours availability)
