Heavy Equipment Diesel FIELD Mechanic

Mechanic /Heavy-Duty / Diesel - Cantonment, FL - Temporary to Full Time

We are seeking aSKILLED CLASS A Heavy**Equipment DieselFieldMechanicto join our team. As a Field Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

To ensure a safe work environment while meeting the physical demands of the job, you must be able to perform the following physical and mental tasks, with or without a reasonable accommodation:

• Perform routine maintenance on Heavy Equipment, diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with Heavy Equipment, diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct inspections to identify faulty parts or components that need repair or replacement
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose problems accurately
• Repair or replace defective parts, hydraulics, hydrostatic drives, brakes, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of diesel engines and Heavy Equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of diesel engine Heavy Equipment repair and maintenance
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Experience with HVAC systems in diesel Heavy Equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems in heavy equipment
• CLASS A DIESEL MECHANIC
• Must have experience with electrical and hydraulics
• Must have at least 2 years' experience and training

SCHEDULE:

• 8-hour shift -- FULL TIME
• Monday to Friday
• Work Location: In person

REQUIREMENTS:

• OVER21-years of age
• VALIDdriver's license
• GOODdriving record
• Must have your own set of tools
• CLASS A

PAY: This position starts at:$30/hr. - $40/hr. (Depending on your experience level)
