DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Custodial Worker 1, you will complete routine manual work in public institutional buildings and surrounding grounds. You will use custodial supplies and modern cleaning equipment as well as move and lift heavy furniture. You will also deep clean restrooms, resident rooms, common areas, offices, and public areas. This role requires following established policies and procedures to ensure completed work complies with all Department of Health standards . In addition, you will assist with snow removal and dispose of trash, recyclable materials, and infectious waste.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week

  • Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work rotating days and weekends.

  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

    Legal Requirements:

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
