As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support store teams and guests with clear communication and service. You will complete routine rounds, respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, document observations, and use technology to report activity. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, guests, and store associates by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas as directed, and the exterior perimeter and parking areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter loitering, shoplifting, and/or other unauthorized activity; report concerns to onsite management and/or dispatch per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting crowd control and customer disputes while maintaining a professional presence.
Complete accurate documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations and/or hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
Have CPR certification, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
