Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) , you will be a pivotal and compassionate professional, directly contributing to accurate patient diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Each day, you will leverage your expertise to perform a diverse range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs. You will be instrumental in creating a positive patient experience through direct interaction, thoroughly explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and cooperation.

Your role demands a deep understanding of diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing proficiency in workflow, precise patient positioning, and capturing accurate results vital for timely and life-saving diagnoses. You will demonstrate competence and proficiency with a variety of specialized equipment across all clinical locations, including the Emergency Room, Surgery, Portables, C-Arms, Fluoroscopy, and Tomography, ensuring high-quality radiological exams and procedures.

You will consistently identify yourself to patients, meticulously verify patient identity and physician orders to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure, and perform all exams following established Radiologist protocols for consistent and reliable results. Beyond image acquisition, you will manage comprehensive exam completion, from room setup and documentation to ensuring all images and relevant information are readily available for Radiologist interpretation. Your exceptional communication skills and cooperative spirit will foster an efficient and supportive environment with fellow technologists and staff, all committed to delivering unparalleled patient service.

Job Requirements

What you will bring:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, will be crucial in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.

  • Candidates must hold an ARRT certification in Radiography or one of the following specializations upon hire: Bone Densitometry, Computed Tomography, Cardio Interventional Radiography, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Quality Management, Radiation Therapy, Vascular Interventional Radiography, or Vascular Sonography.

  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
