Pender Community Hospital District Medical Imaging Manager (Full-Time, Exempt) in Pender, Nebraska
Job Descriptions:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Medical Imagining Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, administering, and monitoring medical imagining services by supervising the department to achieve quality patient care. In addition to leadership and administrative responsibilities, this role maintains clinical competency and provides direct modality coverage and on-call support as needed to ensure continuous imaging services.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages day-today operations of both the medical imagining department and RHC radiology department.
Participate in the strategic planning for the organization in relation to building and maintaining programs.
Recruits and develops a qualified and productive workforce.
Maintains employee relations by promoting a positive work environment, influencing retention, and enhancing communication.
Manages departmental financial operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Hours: Minimum 40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Required Experience:
Education, Experience:
Graduate or an AMA approved radiologic technology program or equivalent
Two years of experience as a radiologic technologist
Supervision experience preferred
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:
Registered by the American Registry or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or eligible.
Nebraska license for Medical Radiographer or Limited license
Basic Life Support (BLS)
