Job Description
Insight Global is seeking dedicated teachers for our client’s Head Start program in New Jersey. In this role, you will work with two teachers assistants in classrooms of 8 children with a 1:4 ratio, aged 0 months to 5 years. Your responsibilities include welcoming students, assisting with hygiene routines, facilitating family-style meals, and leading circle time activities. You will supervise outdoor play, guide various learning activities, and conduct engaging story sessions to promote literacy. Additionally, you will prepare children for nap time, oversee snack time, and ensure smooth transitions at the end of the day. You will foster respectful interactions that honor the diverse backgrounds of children and families, plan enriching experiences like field trips, and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, early childhood education OR a related field with early childhood credits (18 credits for early childhood courses or education courses)
• CEA (infants and toddlers)
• 1 year experience with toddlers in classroom setting
• Excellent time management skills • CPR Certified - CFFS will pay for cert if they don’t have it
• Bilingual - English and Spanish
