Multiple Positions Available in the Jackson Metro Area as follows: 1 Full Time Day Postion Inside State Office 1 Full Time Day position Foot Patrol / Golf Cart 4 Full Time evening Positons Guard Shack, Foot Patrol / Golf Cart  2 Full Time Overnight Positons Guard Shack, Foot Patrol 4 Part Time Weekend Positions Evenings 2 Part Time Weekend Positions Day Time

These Positions All require at least 1 Year of Security Exp.  They also Require previous Firearm training and Firearm Qualifications. You will be required to pass a drug and background check

You must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk for up to 30 minutes at a time  You must be able to climb stairs

::: {dir="auto"} Patrol assigned areas on foot or via vehicle to ensure safety and security. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Provide exceptional customer service and perform general security duties. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Use proper communication skills for radio and telephone interactions. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Prepare detailed daily activity reports, Incident Reports, Offense Reports, Fire Reports, etc. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Maintain appearance and equipment to meet professional standards. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Requirements: :::

::: {dir="auto"} Experience carrying a firearm is essential. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Must possess a Security Guard Permit or Concealed Carry License. :::

::: {dir="auto"} A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related security field. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Must pass a background check and drug test. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Knowledge of security and criminal investigation methods. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Integrity, honesty, and the ability to interact effectively with the public. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Valid driver's license. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Ability to prepare and understand written materials, such as Incident Reports. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Strong verbal communication skills. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Skill in organizing multiple tasks and maintaining workflow. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Maintain professional working relationships with co-workers. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Physical Requirements: :::

::: {dir="auto"} Ability to climb, push, stand, hear, walk, reach, grasp, kneel, stoop, and perform repetitive motions. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Must have good balance and coordination. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Capable of exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Requires close visual acuity for data analysis, computer use, and extensive reading. :::

::: {dir="auto"} May require physical force to resolve emergency situations. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Training and Qualifications: :::

::: {dir="auto"} Quarterly firearm qualifications and firearm safety training required. :::

::: {dir="auto"} Completion of an additional 40 hours of yearly training, including active shooter response, CPR/First Aid, de-escalation, and other relevant categories. :::
