Description
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our legal team on a contract basis in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting attorneys with document preparation, client interactions, and case management. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment specializing in elder law and probate matters.
Responsibilities:
• Draft legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Coordinate and manage scheduling for client meetings and court-related appointments.
• Conduct client intake to gather essential information and assist with case preparation.
• Facilitate witness signings for wills and other legal documents.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys in elder law and probate cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals.
• Perform legal research as needed to support case development.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and ethical practices in all tasks.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably in elder law and probate.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and processes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to draft and proofread legal documents with precision.
• Skilled in client interaction and clear communication.
• Familiarity with legal research tools and software.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Paralegal certification or relevant legal training is preferred.
