Aerotek Warehouse Administrative Assistant in Paulsboro, New Jersey

Immediately hiring Warehouse Administrative Assistant (TEMP) in Mickelson, NJ

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations within a fast-paced food distribution warehouse. This role is a key front-line position responsible for front desk coverage, administrative coordination, purchasing support, and general office management to ensure smooth operations between the warehouse, leadership team, and external vendors

Shift/Pay :

8:00AM - 4:30PM@ $21-24 per hour based on experience (Morning) Monday-Friday

The Warehouse Administrator will support the warehouse by completing various administrative tasks as requested by supervisors. This is a temporary position lasting 12 weeks to assist management with extra organization and front office support.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, drivers, vendors and employees in a professional manner

  • Manage front desk operations, incoming calls, emails and general inquires

  • Create and process purchase orders and support purchasing activities

  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets and basic data entry as needed

  • Perform administrative tasks related to supervisor requests.

  • Provide support to management and leadership through organization and front office assistance.

  • Ensure efficient inventory management and data entry.

  • Interact frequently with warehouse workers to assist with daily tasks.

Skills

  • Experience in a warehouse/distribution logistics setting.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with WMS/ERP software and basic computer skills, including spreadsheets.

  • Good communication and customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience preferred.

  • Must have good written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This role operates during the 1st shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in a brand new 575,000 sq ft building. The warehouse is heated in the winter but not air-conditioned, with fans maintaining a comfortable temperature even during hot summer days. The facility stores and ships manufactured food from their North Jersey plant. A strong spice smell may be present, and safety shoes that meet OSHA standards are required, specifically steel toe or composite.

This is a Contract position based out of Paulsboro, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
