The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Logistics Manager in Pathumthani Non Plant, Thailand
The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end handling of raw materials and finished goods across warehousing and transportation operations. You will oversee third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure on-time delivery, accurate quantities, and cost-efficient logistics execution aligned with customer demand.
What You'll Do
Core Responsibilities
You will oversee the implementation, management, maintenance, and monitoring of warehouse and transportation operations to meet company goals and objectives.
You will manage efficient operations to achieve on-time deliveries with accurate SKUs and quantities at optimized cost.
You will ensure cost optimization in alignment with the cost-to-serve budget.
You will work in close collaboration with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive the achievement of company objectives through effective execution of key initiatives and strategies.
You will implement and maintain audit requirements across warehouse and transportation operations.
You will foster a positive work environment by building strong relationships and promoting a culture of productivity and growth.
Financial Budget and Control
You will assume full responsibility for the warehouse and transportation budget.
You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders involved in the logistics process.
You will take ownership of delivering cost-effective, feasible, and appropriate logistics solutions.
You will ensure full compliance with regulatory, legal, health, and safety requirements.
You will support new business initiatives and projects by ensuring effective implementation of logistics strategies related to operational changes.
Strategy and Development
You will contribute to the development and implementation of best-practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to improve operational performance.
You will plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations in collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, and customers.
You will create and implement standardized logistics principles, policies, and processes across the organization to enhance operational and financial performance.
People Management
You will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team that consistently meets objectives, delivers best practices, and drives continuous improvement.
You will establish clear objectives and KPIs, regularly reviewing and assessing team performance.
You will develop and implement individual and team development plans to support ongoing growth and performance enhancement.
Foster a Winning Growth Culture
You will lead by example to achieve company goals and objectives.
What We're Looking For
You hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
You have at least 5 years of working experience in warehousing and transportation.
You have experience managing warehouse operations with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) implemented.
You have solid experience working across supply chain and operational functions.
You have experience in data analysis and visualization, process improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
You are results-oriented and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
You are flexible and possess strong presentation skills.
You communicate effectively in English at a business level.
